Clients will always give you an honest opinion. After all, companies need to know how they’re performing and what might need to be changed in the future to ensure success. Christina Currie Events enlisted our trustworthy clients to give us feedback about holiday parties, and learned how we can make them brighter. Our gracious participants were candid and courteous with their responses.
CCE: What did you wish you would have known before hosting a holiday party?
Clients:The extensive work involved in holiday party planning. Organizing in advance and creating an RSVP list early on is essential to getting everything done in time. No one likes to rush at the last minute, especially during the busiest time of year!
CCE: What is your biggest pet peeve when attending holiday parties?
Clients: There’s nothing worse than a host who doesn’t consider their guests. Focusing on decor without being hospitable to party goers is a major no-no! Also, don’t ask your guests to help you clean up your dishes. Wait until they offer their services, or leave the clean up for later that evening.
CCE: What would you like to see more of at holiday parties?
Clients: Caroling and signature cocktails. Two feel good factors that are crowd pleasers this time of year!
CCE: What makes a holiday party stand out in your mind?
Clients: One in which a host goes over the top to treat his/her guests special. Unique decor and transforming spaces to make all party goers feel comfortable and welcome. Customized menus and entertainment are the best way to get your friends and family talking.
As you go to organize your next party consider all factors in planning. Most importantly, think of who’s invited. What are their likes and dislikes. Holiday affairs about about celebrating the season and all the wonder that encompasses it. Dedicate your time to details to impress your guests!
Cheers!
