There’s a lot of joy this time of year, but some may feel stressed with the extra activities and traditions that come with the season. Luckily, CCE is at ease knowing the help of our personal stylist and concierge, Posh Services makes decorating and gift-giving a lot easier! We asked Sue, the owner, if she could tell us about her services and how she makes the holiday season merry and bright.
CCE: Do you have a deadline for wrapping gifts?
PS: The latest date for wrapping is December 21st.
CCE: When should a client hire you to decorate their home for the holidays?
PS: I am typically booked for Christmas decorating by mid November.
CCE: What are the costs for your services?
PS: I charge by the hour.
CCE: Do you purchase holiday decorations for clients? Or use their existing decor?
PS: Most of my clients want to use their decorations. I run to the store for a few fillers here and there, but decorations are usually sentimental pieces that are used year after year. Therefore, starting from scratch is rare.
CCE: What project stands out most in your mind when decorating for the holidays?
PS: My favorite project was decorating a home for a family who just moved in a few months before the holidays. Setting up decorations for their first Christmas was really exciting.They used a few things from their old home and we bought several new pieces to fill extra space. Seeing their faces when everything was completed and knowing that this was a start of endless memories in their new home was extremely fulfilling!
