There is always work and extra effort that come with entertaining, and CCE knows that organization is key to throwing the best party for you and your friends. Therefore, we’ve put together a ‘to-do’ list to get you ready for your Friendsgiving celebration!
1. Getting your kitchen ready.
Decide on all of the utensils, platters, serving bowls and large spoons you need. Pull trivets, hot mitts and towels to keep your countertop safe.
Organize them, so they’re easy to find when you’re ready to set them out.
2. Setting a pretty table. 
It’s a good practice to arrange table settings the day before for party. Remember, it’s okay to mix and match your china, it actually gives off more of a “homey” feel.
Keep centerpieces simple by using pumpkins, gourds and candles.
Personalize the table with place cards for each friend at your table.
3. Serve simple appetizers. These bites are made to hold them over, not fill them up.
A CCE favorite is a charcuterie platter on a simple wood board = perfection!
4. Design a self-serve drink station/cart.
Choose one cocktail recipe for guests to make themselves; they will love to learn a new cocktail and it’s always a crowd pleaser!
Keep out red/white wines along with sparkling waters as options.
Serve the cocktails/wine in festive glasses to make it feel special, such as copper or gold accented glassware
5. Serve your dinner buffet or family style. Dress it up by using cast iron skillets to serve side dishes, or add sprigs of rosemary to add the final touch to your side dishes.
6. Have your friends bring the desserts. Make sure to have a table set just for their sweet treats. This way everyone will savory the display and be sure to save room for the meal’s finale. Also, it’s an added piece of decor and room filler to see the array of desserts set up. Be sure to have platters and or cake stands with serving utensils ready along with coffee and tea.
7. Stock up on storage containers for all the leftovers. Who doesn’t love digging into their favorite flavors the next day? It provides sweet dreams and added pleasure to all your closests friends.
