We had a very special carnival celebration for a repeat client’s birthday this summer. On a cloudy morning in July, our birthday boy, Charlie, got a children’s dream party! With the threat of rain imminent, we were able to still keep this party outdoors even in the unusually cold weather.
Last year we had an awesome superhero celebration, but since Charlie was getting older and wanted to do more interactive things for his birthday we thought what better than to bring the carnival to him! With a team of staff to man all of the carnival games and craft tables, we were able to create a mini carnival (complete with dunk tank, popcorn, etc.) right in his backyard. And of course, what is a carnival without the food?! Truffleberry Market created a fantastic carnival-inspired menu including funnel cakes, hot dogs, sliders and tasty mini pretzels. The guests could not have had a more authentic experience outside of their yearly summer trip to Six Flags or the county fair!
As guests arrived, they were invited to take their tickets and “step right up!” to the biggest attraction: the dunk tank. Two very brave souls kept children occupied for over two hours of splashing over and over again in the cool weather. Even the adults couldn’t help but take photos and video! Other fun games including Bozo buckets, duck pond, piñata filled with candy, and a clown craft table kept the kids busy while their parents were able to enjoy the signature drink, a watermelon cooler.
Fun signs with bright carnival colors added to the experience, not to mention the fun balloon arch that guests walked through to get to the backyard! Stay tuned for pictures that will be added to our Facebook account soon.
