Historically, the role of flower girls and ring bearers are given to young children at weddings. But, why? Does age matter? Christina Currie Events (CCE) says no!
Although it is typical for ring bearers and flower girls to be young children, CCE believes it can be fun to mix up this aspect of your wedding. CCE has seen grandmas as flower girls, and middle-aged men as ring bearers. We encourage couples to switch up the age of their ring bearers and flower girls, because by including family and friends of all ages, your wedding day will be made special. We have also seen clients choose ring bearers and flower girls of different generations because not everyone is close to children that they would want in their wedding. In this case, having a grandma or a best friend perform the job of ring bearer or flower girl can be a very memorable part of your day.
At CCE, we believe that your flower girls and ring bearers should be people you that you love and want to share your day with, regardless of age!
