Halloween or All Hallows’ Eve?

Halloween is a holiday celebrated with fun and or ‘scary’ activities and festive fare. It is believed that the holiday originated from ancient Celtic celebrations honoring the dead. In the U.S., we have seen this holiday flourish from dressing up and trick or treating, to elaborate decorative displays and month- long festivities. It’s always fun to put together new and imaginative gatherings for our clients while incorporating many of Halloween’s mythical traditions. This year, CCE is assisting with a ‘Walking Dead’ themed Halloween party. The popular television show parallels the holiday’s reference to spirits rising from the dead. We are amused at the clever menus and decor displays complimenting the theme. Menu items will include ‘Zombie Blood Tomato Shooters’ and ‘Poisoned Pickles,’ colored and labeled to mock the fan favorite episodes. What a fun way to engage guests and keep the holiday intriguing! CCE wonders, what how you celebrate this time of year? How will you intrigue your party goers?
