It is CCE’s mission to impress both the guests of honor and their invited friends and family when planning clients’ special occasions. Transforming spaces into something unique and unimaginable is the perfect way to achieve that ‘WOW’ factor. One of our clients recently approached us with assistance for her nuptials, and wanted to host an intimate exchange of vows at a local restaurant. The bride wanted to do something different from most affairs at the familiar spot, so we came up with a courtyard ceremony positioned outside the banquet space. This arrangement had never been set up before, and the challenge was exciting! Since the restaurant is located in a town center, our first step was to receive approval from the plaza management and surrounding vendors since we were going to add decor to the 
setting. We added special lighting to the trees and white drapes to give the space a more intimate feel for the ceremony. Stanchions were put out to keep the public from trying to walk through during the procession. We worked closely with the restaurant to utilize their dining chairs for the ‘ aisles’ and asked that all remaining outdoor furniture be removed. After the ceremony, waiters served hors d’Oeuvres outdoors as the additional staff quickly cleared chairs to the dining room for the reception.
The flow from outdoor to indoor spaces was flawless, and mother nature was very cooperative. The inviting setting of nature and twinkling lights brought magic to the special exchange of vows. Guests were delighted to experience such a romantic affair. Our bride and groom were over the moon with the evening’s success and will cherish the timeless photos forever.
